Overview of AAV2 Mutation, Integration-Cistrome Factor Overlap and Target gene

Adenovirus Associated Virus Type 2 (AAV2) is a small virus that infect humans and some other primate species. They belong to the genus Dependoparvovirus, which in turn belongs to the family Parvoviridae. They are small (20 nm) replication-defective, nonenveloped viruses.Serotype 2 (AAV2) has been the most extensively examined so far. AAV2 presents natural tropism towards skeletal muscles, neurons, vascular smooth muscle cells and hepatocytes.
Size: ~4679 nucleotides long [RefSeq: AF043303.1]
Human Disease: Hepatocellular carcinoma.

The cistrome refers to "the set of cis-acting targets of a trans-acting factor on a genome-wide scale."
