We detected an HLA-A2-restricted CTL response against the major autologous, Gag SL9 epitope variant 77SLYNTIATL85 (82I) by week 39, and by week 63 several clones had developed an additional Y79F mutation in position three of the epitope (77SLFNTIATL85).
