Of note, V19M was specifically impaired in LTR activation but remained a potent NF-kappaB activator, while T130I was defective in NF-kappaB activation, but exhibited significant LTR activation capability, reminiscent of similar properties of the M22 (T130A L131S) mutation mentioned above.
