In 7 sequences of genotype C cases, mutations in the MHR could be found in all of the samples, i.e. D99N, Y100F, Q101R/H, L110I, T113S, S114T, S117T, T118M, I126T/V, W165L, and V168A, which may be associated with antigenicity of HBsAg.
