All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their activity against WT HIV-1 (strain HIV-IIIB), double RT mutant strain HIV-1 IIIB (RES056 and F227L/V106A), five single RT mutant strain HIV-1 IIIB (L100I, K103N, E138K, Y181C, Y188L), and HIV-2 (strain ROD) in MT-4 cells by using MTT method described previously.
