Evidence In this regard, the I110M, G119E, M133T, and R169P substitutions in the envelope proteins are caused by the T484G, G510A, T552C, and G660C point mutations in the viral genome, respectively (Fig. ​(Fig.1A),1A), with the T484G mutation further inducing an S466A substitution in the DNA polymerase.
