Title Prevalence of the entecavir-resistance-inducing mutation rtA186T in a large cohort of Chinese hepatitis B virus patients.
Author Liu L,Liu Y,Chen R,Li X,Luo D,Zhao Y,Li Q,Huang B,Wang FS,Liu X,Xu D
Evidence Compared to wild-type strain, two patient-derived mutants' rtL180M+A186T+M204V and rtL180M+T184S+A186T+M204V had 86.7% and 89.2% decreased replication capacity, 210- and 555-fold increased ETV resistance, respectively; and artificial elimination of rtA186T largely restored their ETV sensitivity.
