Evidence Moreover, among patients without virological breakthrough, amino acid substittions at positions 184 and 250 (rtT184S/A and rtM250L) potentially associated with resistance to entecavir, and the controversial rtA194T mutation associated with resistance to tenofovir, were found in seven and one patients, respectively, who were treated with 3TC for a median period of 38 months (Figure 1).
