While sS207N (rtQ215S) co-localized in the fourth trans-membrane domain of HBsAg was only detected in monoinfected patients (P=0.01), several additional mutations (sP105A, sI110S/L, sP120S/T, sP127T/L and sS136Y) located in the major hydrophilic region of HBV envelope (amino acid residues90-160) were detected in HBV/HIV coinfected patients
