Evidence Expression of Rta or RPs together with Z(S173F) did not restore genome amplification or late gene expression (Fig. 4, lanes 4 and 5). These results show that Rta and replication proteins each can suppress the replication defect in the mutant Z(S173A) but not Z(S173F).
