The remaining six mutated MA viruses that were not infectious had low (Arg3-Leu and Arg14-Leu) or substantial (Arg33-Leu, Lys47-Ile, Lys51-Ile, and Lys74-Ile) levels of virus particle production, but their levels were lower than that of the wild-type virus in all cases (Table11 and Fig.2A).
