Title Subgenotypes and mutations in the s and polymerase genes of hepatitis B virus carriers in the West Bank, palestine.
Author Abdelnabi Z,Saleh N,Baraghithi S,Glebe D,Azzeh M
Evidence L209V was the only amino acid exchange detected in the S gene of the three A2 Palestinian genotypes, due to T779G point mutation. Two synonymous mutations were found in one of the three samples at position C406T (L84) and A436G (L94). The nucleotide position was defined based on A2 subgenotype GenBank archived sequence X51970.
