Title Pooled analysis of amino acid changes in the HBV polymerase in patients from four major adefovir dipivoxil clinical trials.
Author Borroto-Esoda K,Miller MD,Arterburn S
Evidence An additional 3 patients had mutations at other strictly conserved sites without the rtA181V and/or rtN236T mutations; one patient in study GS-98-435 had a switch in HBV genotype from C to B which resulted in the appearance of numerous polymorphic changes and a conserved site mutation at rtV208I, one patient in study GS-96-412 developed the double mutation rtL180M + rtM204V possibly due to undocumented use of lamivudine in the clinical study and one patient in study GS-98-438 developed the rtS185T + rtY327S mutations.
