Finally, TaxK85A mutant is inactive for both. We use the degradation of I-kappaBalpha as an indicator of NF-kappaB activation and the decrease in cyclin B1 and Skp2 levels with concomitant increase in the levels of p21 and p27 as surrogate markers for senescence induction.
