The other participant with drug resistance had 2-class ARV resistance, including transmitted NNRTI mutations (K103N, P225H), likely transmitted nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) mutations (D67N, K70R, K219Q; thymidine analogue mutations, conferring low-level TDF resistance), and an M184V mutation (conferring high-level FTC and 3TC resistance) that was either transmitted or acquired on PrEP.
