Evidence For protease inhibitors (PIs), the most common mutations observed were as follows: any 37 (10.1%);V82A 25 (6.8%); M46I/L 24 (6.6%); L76V 12 (3.3%); I54V 10 (2.7%); L90M 7 (1.9%);and I84V 6 (1.6%). Of all patients with resistance to PIs (n = 37), 20 (54.1%) also had thymidine analogue mutations (TAMs).
