Evidence We performed a Bayesian fine-mapping analysis to prioritize potentially causal SNPs in the BALF2 gene region using PAINTOR and found that only the three non-synonymous coding variants (NC_007605.1:162215C>A, 162476T>C, and 163364C>T) were significantly associated (Supplementary Fig. 9 and Supplementary Table 12).
