Preparation of the cDNA encoding IN_CRF and its consecutive cloning allowed us to obtain the pET-15b_IN_CRF* vector, which was then subjected to site-directed mutagenesis to introduce the I32V and I259V substitutions and to obtain the pET-15b_IN_CRF expression vector coding for a consensus IN sequence.
