To increase the sensitivity for detection of drug resistance mutations and to characterize the genetic diversity of the viral population, 55 single proviral genomes were sequenced via SGS. SGS detected minor resistance mutations in the PR gene that were not reported in the standard genotype (D30N (3.6%), G73S (1.8%) and G48E (5.5%).
