For epitope 213-226, 35 samples were assayed and showed that SFCs per 106 PBMCs were 39.1 ± 2.9 (27.1–56.3), 38.5 ± 2.7 (27.4–53.9), 42.1 ± 2.4 (31.0–57.0), and 40.0 ± 3.5 (26.1–61.4) for the wild type, F219Y, L213I/F220C, and V224A/S225Y, respectively, indicating that IFN-γ-secreting cells were not affected by variants in this region (paired t-test, p > 0.01)
