Because of overlapping with HBx open reading frame (ORF), the mutations of C1637G, G1658A, G1719T, G1742T, A1762T and G1764A in CP were non-synonymous in HBx ORF and resulted in the amino acid substitutions of S88C, R95K, K118R, W123L, K130M and V131I, respectively.
