Result: The T19524 and T19524T-A6210 strains were also detected in neighboring countries including Singapore, Thailand, and Australia (https://bigd.big.ac.cn/ncov/) but not the T19524-A6210-A2508 strains, suggesting the C2508A could be a mutation that accumulated in the SARS-CoV-2 gene pool during the second COVID-19 epidemic wave in Malaysia.
