Novel point and combo-mutations in the genome of hepatitis B virus-genotype D: characterization and impact on liver disease progression to hepatocellular carcinoma.
Discussion: Few new combination of mutations in the enhancer-I region were also noted in LC and HCC such as T1029C/A1032G (>30%), T1059A/A1105C (>25%), and C1249T/T1250C (>15%) indicating their importance in LC and HCC development (data not shown) but not found significant in this study.
