Method: The strength of the association between the two sets of polymorphisms I124V/I152L and F144I/I150A/L151I and the etiology of HL was tested with a simple logistic regression and then with a logistic regression model controlling for sex, age, CD4 levels and the number of years of antiretroviral therapy at the date of blood sampling, using Stata 11 software (StataCorp, http://www.stata.com).
